BTA is looking for a Website Designer/Developer with the following skills and attributes:
- 2+ years minimum experience with web design and development
- Bachelor’s Degree/ Associate’s Degree in Graphic Arts/Design or related field
- High proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
- Ability to work within Dreamweaver
- Ability to complete a Web site from initial design to functional xhtml compliant Web site
- Full knowledge of CSS and the best practices for email and online uses
- Ability to hardcode CSS & HTML
- Experience with User Interface design for web applications
- Knowledge of cross platform web development using W3C standards (CSS, HTML)
- Knowledge of usability standards, information architecture best practices, and optimization techniques.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to take ownership of your projects and meet deadlines; commitment to detail
- Must be well organized, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Ability to accept and respond to feedback
- Must be comfortable working in the Mac environment.
Bonus skills and experience include:
- PHP
- JavaScript (including jQuery & AJAX)
- Flash (advanced useage of AS3 and XML)
- Designing for Mobile Devices
- Experience with or ability to use various Content Management Systems
